3d Scanning

We have onsite 3D scanning capabilities this allow us to quickly and accurately 3D scan any casting to either:

• Reverse engineer – We can 3D scan a part to create a 3D CAD model. This is ideal for old existing parts that have no drawings, from this we can precisely remanufacture a part ready for production.
• Quickly and precisely scan parts for inspection purposes – from this we can accurately generate ISIR reports.
• CAD overlay – we can use colour map techniques to overlay scan data vs supplied CAD data to easily visualise if parts conform.
• Pattern validation – regular scanning of pattern before production helps us determine pattern wear before parts are made.
